Who is responsible for your information?

Barzola Digital is a commercial brand operated by Armando Barzola Cernada, an individual (persona natural) based in Cali, Colombia. We provide web design and ongoing digital support to businesses in the United States. Armando Barzola Cernada is the person responsible for deciding how personal information submitted through this website is processed.

Privacy inquiries and requests: [email protected].

Operator's correspondence address: Avenida 6ta N #33-06, La Flora, Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. This address is provided for correspondence purposes and does not imply a customer-facing office.

Public contact telephone: +57 302 593 3519. For privacy requests and business inquiries, email at [email protected] remains the preferred channel.

Information we collect

If you send a website inquiry, we may receive your name, company name, business email address, website URL, service interest, message, and your consent to be contacted. For site security, our infrastructure and anti-abuse providers may also process technical information such as IP address, browser details, request timestamps and fraud signals. Optional analytics records non-advertising usage information only after you give permission.

How we receive your permission

The inquiry form asks you to explicitly authorize us to use the information you provide to respond to your request. This is separate from the optional choice to allow website analytics. We do not add inquiry senders to an advertising mailing list based solely on a website inquiry.

For each successfully delivered inquiry, the notification email also includes a server-recorded receipt time (UTC), the hostname used, the revision of this privacy notice and the required consent checkbox confirmation. These details help us locate the inquiry and document the form's consent context; they are not a separate marketing profile.

Why we use this information

We use contact data to respond to requests, discuss potential services, follow up with people who contact us, and maintain appropriate business records. We use necessary technical data to deliver and secure the website, prevent spam and investigate operational issues. If you opt in, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand website visits and improve the experience. We do not sell your personal information.

Our service providers

Our website is hosted and protected using Cloudflare and its security tools, including Turnstile. Contact submissions are delivered through Resend and received in our Google Workspace business inbox. Google Analytics 4 is used only after optional analytics consent on our public site. Some typography is served through Google Fonts. Providers may process information outside Colombia; their handling is subject to their applicable terms and privacy notices.

Analytics and cookies

Optional analytics remain off until you select Allow analytics. If you choose Reject analytics, the site does not load Google Analytics. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. Our private Cloudflare Pages previews do not transmit analytics events to Google. For details about storage, purposes and browser controls, read our Cookie Policy.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or inquiry message content to Google Analytics, and we do not use advertising pixels on this website in the current setup.

Contact forms and security

We validate contact fields and use security checks to reduce automated submissions. Please avoid sending sensitive medical, financial or government-identification information through the general inquiry form. We cannot guarantee that transmission over the internet is free of risk, but we apply reasonable safeguards and restrict access to systems used for business communication.

How long we keep information

Inquiry retention policy: inquiries that do not result in a client engagement will normally be deleted from our business inbox and copies we control within 12 months after the last substantive communication, unless a documented contractual or legal obligation justifies keeping them longer. We have adopted quarterly manual reviews of inactive inquiries. Our first corporate inbox review on November 5, 2026 identified no expired inquiries. Copies and logs controlled by service providers may follow their own retention and deletion terms.

If a conversation becomes an ongoing client engagement, we may need to retain relevant correspondence, agreements, invoices and supporting records for the duration of the relationship and any additional period required by applicable contractual, tax, accounting or other legal obligations. Records needed to address a dispute or lawful request may be held longer where justified. We will limit such exceptions to what is necessary.

Optional analytics preferences are saved in your browser for up to 180 days unless changed or cleared earlier. Our Google Analytics 4 property currently retains event-level and user-level data for 2 months, without resetting the retention period when new activity occurs. Website security logs, email-delivery records and provider-managed copies follow the relevant providers' settings and retention terms, which may differ from the business-inquiry policy.

Policy effective date and database lifetime

Effective date: November 5, 2026. This policy applies while Barzola Digital operates its business-inquiry channel. The corresponding inquiry database remains active while that purpose exists, subject to the individual record-retention periods above, applicable legal or contractual exceptions, and notice of material changes. We discontinue or delete records when their purpose and justified retention expire.

Your privacy choices and rights

You can decline optional analytics and, where applicable, request access to personal information, details of its use, correction, updating or deletion, or withdrawal of authorization. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal or contractual obligations. You may also raise concerns with the Colombian Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) after pursuing the applicable request process with us.

How to submit a privacy request

Contact [email protected] with your name, a reply address, a description of your inquiry or requested change and any relevant context. We may request reasonable evidence of identity or authority before disclosing or modifying personal data; do not send sensitive identification documents in an initial website inquiry.

For requests governed by Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012, access or consultation requests generally must be answered within 10 business days, with a notice and limited extension of up to 5 additional business days when legally permitted. Correction, deletion and other formal complaints generally have a 15-business-day response period, subject to the legally permitted extension of up to 8 business days. These periods may depend on the completeness of the request and applicable law.

Updates

We may update this notice to reflect changes in our website, service providers or applicable legal requirements. The date at the top identifies the version shown.
